During his speech, Eng. Abdi unveiled a transformative agenda for Mandera East focusing on; Education reform and access; Healthcare system strengthening; Sustainable water and sanitation solutions; A bold and innovative poverty eradication model, and youth and women empowerment

He vowed to bring change rooted in evidence-based policymaking and inclusive governance.

Eng. Abdi previously served in the Ministry of Water and spearheaded critical drought mitigation projects in Northern Kenya. His work during dry seasons earned him widespread praise.
