On this Mashujaa Day 2025, we not only honour the heroes who fought for our nation’s liberation but also celebrate those who continue to build its future — one act of service, courage, and vision at a time.
In Mandera East, a new story is unfolding. The conversation around leadership is shifting from empty promises to purposeful action. Among the names inspiring hope across towns, villages, and youth spaces is Engineer Abdi Maalim, a leader whose vision is grounded in results, inclusivity, and integrity.
To Eng. Abdi, leadership is not about power; it’s about possibility. He believes that Mandera East’s future lies in empowering its people, giving youth the skills to innovate, women the capital to lead, and farmers the tools to thrive. His development vision for 2027 seeks to transform Mandera from the margins of the national map into a beacon of growth, peace, and opportunity.
